Meet Joe Stronsick

The Martial Arts Program at Adventure Mixed Martial Arts is second to none! We cater to men, women and children starting at age 4. We know that every student that walks through the door has a different reason for wanting to train in Martial Arts. Some students want a great workout to tone up and get in shape; some students want to learn how to defend themselves; some students want to train in the same disciplines that UFC fighters train in, but without getting thrown to the wolves; while others are looking to compete in sport BJJ, Kickboxing or MMA. At Adventure MMA, teaching is done in a safe, friendly, and controlled environment which fosters fun, camaraderie, and respect.

Our academy specializes in Reality Based Self Defense (American Kenpo), Jiu-Jitsu, Sambo, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Boxing, Fitness Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), and Kids. We're located in Brunswick Ohio.

Facility and Safety

With regard to the facility and safety. Our Academy is the only school in the area equipped with spring loaded safety floors and Zebra mats, voted the #1 mats in the world, and used for professional competition. With our unique spring loaded floor, there is less chance of an injury and more time to for you to train. It’s just another reason why you’ll love Adventure Mixed Martial Arts.

Joe Stronsick is the head instructor at Adventure Mixed Martial Arts. He has been training in Martial Arts for over 26 years. A graduate of Cleveland State and a certified MMA strength and conditioning coach, he is a 5th degree Black Belt in American Kenpo, and a Level 6 instructor under Undefeated Fighter, UFC coach and MMA trainer Gokor Chivichyan.
